Dortmund/Straubing. Rothe Erde and Sennebogen are celebrating 66 years of successful cooperation this year. Rothe Erde has been supplying slewing bearings for the machines of Sennebogen, a leading manufacturer of cranes and material handling machines, since 1959.
The long-standing partnership between the two companies is based on shared high quality standards and trusting cooperation. “The collaboration between Rothe Erde and Sennebogen is a prime example of a successful and sustainable business relationship. We are proud to have been a reliable partner of Sennebogen for 66 years and to develop innovative solutions together,” says Peter Küpper, Sales Manager at Rothe Erde.
From telescopic handlers to harbor cranes
It all began in 1959 with a double-row ball bearing that was sent on its journey from the Ruhr region to Lower Bavaria. “Today, we supply everything from single-row ball bearings for material handling machines with small jib lengths to three-row roller bearings for port cranes with a load capacity of up to 90 tons for almost the entire Sennebogen portfolio,” explains Alexander Jerrhof, Sales Industry Account Manager at Rothe Erde. To mark the anniversary, Peter Küpper and Alexander Jerrhof presented the company's own Sennbogen Museum with a double-row ball bearing that is identical in construction to the first model supplied in 1959.
